Seller's Notes:This is a gorgeous Gabbeh rug from the Zollanvari collective, specifically their 'Shekarlou' range, woven by Turkmen tribes in northern Iran. There's interesting information online about these rugs. We purchased ours at ABC Carpet & Home in New York. A rug of this quality and durability maintains its value. Any small stains are easily spot-cleaned. We kept after dirt and debris with frequent vacuuming. Still, because it's been on our floor for 16 years, we do suggest having it professionally cleaned and sanitized before bringing it into your home. We're happy to include the rug pad.
