Seller's Notes:It was hand made in Afghanistan and took 6 months to make it in mazar e sharif town , famous city for rug making , all pure lamb wool , hand made will last you for centuries The more it get dirty it shines and have 22000 wool knits in the rug , here is USA the last time I checked in Alexandria , Va were selling similar for $5200 , it is ideal rug for elegant living room , dining room or a exclusive lawyer office and much more , I have two similar rugs & selling only one as I have never used this one , I am retired and downsizing and I got it made in Afghanistan in 2002 as I was working there for AKDN out of Paris
