Though less well known on the east coast, Berkeley,California-based Fenton Maclaren is a renowned fine furniture maker specializing in mission, arts and crafts, and shaker style furniture. Fenton Maclaren is known for their craftsmanship, durability and style and are considered one of the top furniture makers for those living in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a result, the exterior of the piece still looks like new. There is one defect -a small crack on the bottom of the lower drawer.
