Seller's Notes:STEREO CONSOLE/ CREDENZA / SIDE BOARD Zenith stereo console from 1970 features a center lid that lifts to access a turntable, AM/FM radio and a slot for a few records. Two switches to select "Internal Speaker ON/OFF" {for headphones} and "External Speakers ON/OFF". Comes with a matching wooden record bin. This Forrester model has 6 speakers: 2 woofers, 2 treble horns and 2 tweeters. The louvers are speaker covers, and "doors" on the front are decorative. The turntable operates normally, but there is **no sound thru the speakers** only through the record needle. See interior photo from underneath the record player. The lights on the console for phonograph and radio do not come on, and the radio does not have sound. There are dials for bass and treble and slide for Left/Right balance. Tuning Dial works, AM FM switch works. Something needs help on the circuit board or connections. In the past, it had excellent full spectrum sound and power. Does not have doors that open for storage but the top surface is 5' wide x 17.5" deep for plenty of space for food, platters, and decorations. Makes a great credenza or sideboard. Could easily be converted to be a storage cabinet. Pictures from the inside show that the speakers and wires appear to be intact and making contact. No damage to wiring seen. Let's make a deal.
