Seller's Notes:Vintage bleached white oak side chairs from the Hitchcock Chair Company ... old-line new England furniture company (now defunct) that specialized in reproductions of early American furniture. Comfortable. Purchased a few years ago but just remodeled our kitchen and they no longer fit the style ... a bit creaky as is typical of bentwood furniture with entirely wedge-set / glued joints; not a single nail or screw involved!
