Seller's Notes:Authentic vintage Mid-Century Modern brass floor lamp with a frosted glass "mushroom" globe by Laurel Lamp Co. Circa 1960s. The "Stemlite Floor Lamp" was designed by Bill Curry in 1962, crafted to replace traditional base-with-shade lamps with a more cohesive modern design. The lamp's space-age “total look” aesthetic quickly became an iconic symbol of 1960s California Modernism. The hand-blown opal glass globe emits a warm, ambient glow, perfect to brighten up a dark corner or add an elegant statement to any interior. The brass bass has a beautiful, aged patina consistent with its vintage condition. Globe is free of scratches or marks.
