Seller's Notes:Vintage principal's desk that I inherited; all solid wood (oak), including the back of the desk which can be seen in the third picture. The desk has six drawers, one of which is deep enough to hold letter/legal size hanging folders. The four shallow side drawers all have movable wood dividers, and the center drawer locks. The desk has six legs; however, the two in the center were removed to get the desk into my house 19 years ago and I never re-attached them. It is sturdy without the legs attached, but as you can see in the last two pictures they can be reattached if you would like. I have included pictures of the inside of the drawers as well as one of the top surface. I love this desk and I hate to sell it, but it is very big and I am inheriting other furniture and no longer have the space for it. Despite its age which is unknown (possibly 75 years old), the desk is in good condition, with some distressing, which adds to its charm. One of my favorite things about this desk is the two pieces that slide out on either side to add even more working space. I hope someone will love this desk as much as I did!
