Horizontally ribboned design motif with each band bearing its own unique patterned stylization, including running water channels, birds, and germinating plants. Pale royal blue, dusty raspberry red, beige, coffee brown, seafoam green, antique ivory, and more. Weave across in original condition. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned. Handwoven Indian Stone Wash Dhurrie carpet made in India circa 1980's vintage. This was a wedding gift to my husband and me from our fellow expat community while we were living in Chile in the early 1990s.
