Seller's Notes:Handsome vintage caribou shoulder taxidermy mount (circa 1980’s). Wonderful vintage condition with no outstanding flaws we have detected. It is mounted with wood and is hung on a single hook. We inherited this gentle giant from an eclectic collector whose stylish mountain home was filled with high-end vintage modern furnishings, taxidermy, art and design from the 1980’s. For over 30 years the buck has held the same regal place of honor over the mantle of an impressive gray slate fireplace. He is believed to be Canadian and has massive horns and thick hair in rich shades of brown, cream, and beige. His taxidermist positioned him with superb craftsmanship in a natural proud left-facing stance. His eyes are gorgeous. This buck would make a wonderful addition to your hunting trophy collection or above a fireplace mantle in a living room, study or den. He would be a natural fit in a rustic mountain home or modern country retreat or he could bring something unique to a boring space that needs a certain something.
