Seller's Notes:An original women's fashion sketch by Louis Feraud ca. 1950s. In 1950, Louis Féraud created his first "Maison de Couture" in Cannes and by 1955 had established a couture house in Paris on 88, Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré and 57, rue Pierre-Charonne. This framed sketch was purchased 8 years ago during a Gilt Group sale from Soucher-Marin Gallery, founded in 1959 by Harry Soicher and Eduardo Marin set out to create a company that stood for quality, design excellence and attention to detail. After two generations, their inspired idea survives and thrives as the modern Soicher Marin in Bradenton, FL.
