Seller's Notes:Designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller Introduced in 1958 by then-design director, George Nelson, the Nelson Swag Leg Desk has retained its relevance for decades. These desks continue to add interest and utility to homes and offices through their graceful, architectural form and timeless materials. The Nelson Swag Leg desk has a white-laminate top surface, solid walnut side and back panels, 4 medium-density fiberboard dividers, and 2 black-plastic pencil drawers. The base is chrome-finished steel tubing with a solid walnut stretcher and adjustable glides. The desk also has a grommet for cable management. The shelf depth is 9.25" inches (9.75" inches if you include the back lip of the shelf), and a weight limit of 25 lbs on the top shelf and 100 lbs on the desk surface. The distance between the legs is 34".
