Seller's Notes:This is a modular Hannah Morrison Mid-Century for Knoll Sling settee sofa in original vintage green upholstery, with original label. Inspired by the extruded aluminum of a sailboat mast. A beautiful original vintage 1970’s mid-century modern sling loveseat designed by Bruce Hannah and Andrew Morrison for Knoll. Comes with original vintage Knoll fabric. Extruded aluminum frame and sleek, minimalist lines. Aluminum in great shape. The chairs were made in 1978. They would look amazing in a living room, office, co-working space or studio. Bruce Hannah made a career of understanding and exploiting modern technology and materials to create efficient, practical products. Hannah found a philosophical and creative partner in Andrew Morrison, with whom he introduced several innovative products for Knoll in the 1970s. Exploring the possible applications of aluminum in modern furniture, the pair introduced a lounge seating system in 1971. Hannah taught at the Pratt Institute until his retirement in 2015.
