Seller's Notes:1 year old sofa purchased from Design Within Reach. Made-to-order last September tailored to our previous apartment space, but have since moved and are in need of a different solution. Otherwise have loved the couch and sad to have to part with it.
Designed to accommodate the human body with studied proportions and simple geometry, the Theatre Sofa’s (2001) comfort stems from its form rather than excessive layers of stuffing. With a gently angled backrest, full seat depth, and elevated armrests, the Theatre Sofa displays Boerner’s signature artisanal details. A gleaming chromed steel base runs the entire depth of the design, and welted seams lend strength and definition to the upholstery.
