Conceived by Swedish designer and architect Jonas Wagell, the Jonas Sofa was commissioned by Herman Miller in 2016 as a part of a small line of living room furniture known as the Jonas Collection. Wagell sought to design the Jonas Sofa as a focal point from which household socialization and conversation would effortlessly emerge, giving way to its playfully rounded edges and slender, tall legs. The Jonas Sofa is constructed from a plywood frame, structural steel support rails, and cast aluminum legs that support the feather- and fiber-filled back cushions and foam seat cushions. Available in a range of fabric colors, this playful sofa would make a timeless addition to any living room.

Designed by Swedish creative Jonas Wagell, the Jonas Clubottom was envisioned as a timeless everyday piece. Its inviting form features soft upholstery with feather fill, subtly curved arms, and gracefully slender legs—details chosen to enhance comfort and longevity. “I aim to design objects that transcend fleeting trends,” Wagell explains, “pieces that I can stand behind and that remain relevant and appreciated over time.” Proudly crafted in Canada.
