Seller's Notes:Good condition Walnut Index Three Bookcase designed by Niels Bendtsen purchased about 7 years ago from Design Within Reach. The DWR catalogue describes the piece as designed to create an elegantly understated backdrop for books or decorative objects. The Index Bookcase is refined enough for even the most sophisticated home. It has a very clean, simple structure with an open, lithe presence. It is finished on both sides and can function either as a room divider, while still giving the feeling of open space, or more traditionally, against a wall. The bookcase has adjustable glides for leveling on uneven surfaces. Made in Canada. Was selling for $1000. But I've lowered the price to $500. This bookcase is all about minimalism, and would be perfect in any home, whether placed against the wall as a bookcase or used to divide a space. My favorite part: this could add some really needed shelf space to a tiny apartment. There is a scratch on the outside side as seen in the pics.
