Seller's Notes:The Cofemo lounge chair is absolutely the Cadillac of Eames inspired replicas. Made in Italy in the 1970’s, the construction, materials, fit / finish and design are best by far. Here’s a short list of notable features. — First and foremost, the frame is rigid thanks to the quality of materials and overall engineering of the assemblage. — It’s balanced correctly so not to creek or put too much leverage where the seat meets the back. — The back cushions and headrest are actually bolted into the shells instead of just being screwed or clipped on. — Actual genuine leather instead of vinyl — The hardware is more decorative and industrial which elevates the overall quality and look of the chair There’s also plenty of extra function to compliment the form. The Cofemo chair can lock into both an upright and reclined position. Pull out the lock arm and you’re free to rock back against the spring tension. Especially helpful is the pitch pin, which when rotated, can gradually dial you in to the perfect tilt of the chair while in the upright position. This seemingly minor adjustment mechanism makes the chair immensely more customizable. It’s missing the two buttons on the seat but the leather spectacular!
