Seller's Notes:sling spot. The Sling Nightstand was created exclusively for Design Collab—a CB2 collaborative that brings us together with like-minded souls and design institutions. Design Collab No. 1 debuts small–space solutions by 12 students in the Designed Objects curriculum at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). In her design, SAIC student Brooke Collins "explores an awareness of surfaces—hard and soft, fixed and malleable." The open, architectural frame is crafted of iron with a hand-applied brass finish. Contrasting the structure of the table, a leather sling lives below, sliding on rods that allow it to change shape to hold magazines and other objects.
