Seller's Notes:The color of the lamps changes depending on the light. The unaltered photos show both day and night. Solid marble. Heavy. When turned on, the light falls over the rough surface and casts nice shadows. There are tiny shimmering flecks in the marble, which the photos don't capture. The black shades are the originals -- high-quality, and sturdy black cloth. The shades are mounted as standard shades, so they can be changed easily if desired. As the photos show, these originals allow diffused light to come through, which I liked a lot.
