Twist lock that is functional. Once had a key. Hinges in good condition that open & close Chest. Remains open when top lifted. Has lined 3 compartment shelf. Spacious storage for linens, bedding or whatever your heart desires. One can detect a lovely Cedar odor the moment the Chest is opened. A true treasure piece that I enjoyed for many years.
