Seller's Notes:This Tulip-style dining table was purchased in 2018. It has a black marble top with high-gloss lacquer finish, and a lacquered aluminum base. The table top is 48 inches in diameter and seats 4. This is a very heavy, sturdy table as the top is real stone and it is a high-quality piece that won't get knocked over by kids or pets. The lacquer finish on the top has light surface-layer scratches from use of a rough sponge when cleaning (these do not penetrate to the marble below). The scratches can be treated with a lacquer polish (I use Novus 1, 2 and 3). It can also be re-lacquered if desired to completely remove the scratches. In most indoor lighting, the scratching is not visible - I had some trouble photographing it. The close-up photo of the table top with the window reflection is the most clear depiction.
