Seller's Notes:A neighbor was tossing this chair out due to surface damage so I gave it a facelift using vintage 1961 Hammond Atlas maps and sealed it with high gloss eco-friendly varnish. I took this completely apart to add the maps to both sides completely. This is even pretty upside down! It's now in excellent shape for its new incarnation at your home office desk, as a side chair in a bedroom, or as an odd chair out at your dining table when that extra guest arrives unannounced! Whatever you use it for it's certain to be a conversation piece. The intentionally selected maps feature the Islands of the Earth.
