Seller's Notes:This set has 4 chairs, not 6. My mother wrote to Sears to order this table and chairs, probably around 1920, when she was the only person in the family who spoke English. I've been around it for 75 years now, and it's been in my own home for thirty! It's a sturdy yet graceful classic round oak family dining table, has been refinished once or twice, and has a few dings. The chair seats lift out for easy staple-gun reupholstering, and 3 of 4 are still quite sturdy. The old hardware that opens the center so the leaves (2) can be installed still works. It breaks my heart to part with it, but I no longer have the space to keep it, and the same is true for the other descendants of the woman who ordered it as a new American.
