Seller's Notes:This Antique Elm Chinese lacquered cabinet was imported turn-of-the century by Ark Antiques, a former antiques dealer located in Moonachie, NJ that specialized in quality Chinese antiques. The highly patinated layered lacquer finish is extremely sought-after but is not meant to be even in color or patina. The finish is evident of a century of wear and tear, and all is well-preserved beneath a thick coat of clear lacquer so the piece is usable and clean. The piece has been maintained in good condition and is available for immediate pickup or delivery. The finish is a highly patinated Chinese lacquer and is very durable and stable. It is in a classic Chinese red lacquer color. The construction is very solid and the piece durable. There is 1 of 3 available. Contact us for details on the other pieces, which are white and yellow.
