Seller's Notes:Antique 1900s Chinese Shanxi Province 4-Drawer Kitchen Chest - Original Finish & Hardware This is a stunning, authentic early 20th-century (c. 1900) kitchen chest originating from the Shanxi Province of China. Unlike many pieces from this era that have been heavily restored or refinished, this chest remains in fantastic original condition, retaining its gorgeous deep patina and all of its original hardware. Features & Craftsmanship Originality: The chest features its original lacquer finish, showcasing a rich, authentic aged character that cannot be replicated by modern techniques. Hardware: All four drawers are adorned with their original hand-forged iron hardware. The pulls and central plates are intact and fully functional. Construction: Masterfully crafted using traditional Chinese joinery (mortise-and-tenon), built to last for another century. Storage: Four drawers offer storage, making it as functional as it is decorative. Two large drawers measure 25" wide x 14.5" deep and 5.5" high. Two smaller drawers are: 11.5" wide, 14.5" deep and 5.5" high
