Seller's Notes:Connecticut artist Marion Tavano painted this amazing abstracted garden scene in the 1950's on board. Entitled "Bearded Lady Iris", it's signed on verso and has wonderful pink, cream hues mixed with black and grays. Measures 22" x 31". Presented in a thick wooden period frame, no glass. Board has some wear, warping at the edges, but is solid in the frame. Ready to hang. This piece has a folk art, primitive feel to it which adds to its mesmerizing charm
