1920's China Cabinet
Product details
Seller's Notes:I had to do more research and I found out what I needed to know. As I guessed, it is a circa 1920's China Cabinet, American, and Williams and Mary style. They sell much higher and most are above $3,000. I bought mine at an antique shop and paid less but I had to restore it. This cost me around $1500 so I had to readjust my price. I believe it is rosewood, but I am not sure. The hardware is marked. I love the color and it fits perfectly with the mahogany woodwork I have in my dining room. I live in a Victorian brownstone, which was built in 1899. It is a floor through Parlor Floor and took the time to furnish it with period furniture. This China cabinet was purchased in 1999 from an antiques dealer on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. It was cleaned up and put back to its original state. I am unfortunately selling most of my furniture as I am moving out of state. I cared for it and enjoyed it for many years. I am looking for a loving home. Oh, it has discreet wheels and hence movable. It has been priced to sell before I move. Enjoy it!
