Seller's Notes:This XL twin loft bed has lots of storage to make a small space look, feel, and be roomier! This like-new, solid wood (*not* particle board and laminate!) loft bed in a dark brown finish was custom built by Bunk & Loft Factory in Columbus, OH. It has detached, matching storage steps with four gliding drawers, as well as a roomy wardrobe with a top shelf and bar to hang clothes. The space underneath the bed has a detached, matching draftsman desk that can be included at no additional cost. The space under the bed could also fit a chair, filing cabinets, bookshelves, a toy chest, beanbag chair, mini-kitchenette set, or a Lego universe! The dimensions for the wardrobe are as follows: 60 inches tall 41 inches wide 20.5 inches deep Wardrobe doors are 18" each The dimensions for the detached staircase are: 78 inches tall (at the top of the solid-wood railing; 35 inches tall at the based of the railing, which runs at a diagonal) 18.5 inches wide 42 inches deep (at the base) The dimensions for the bed are: 85 inches long for the XL twin 42 inches deep (depth/width of the headboard; basically the head/foot side of the mattress) 20 inches high (this puts the headboard and railing 12-15 inches above the mattress, depending on the depth of the mattress) Combined measurements: 80 inches tall 42 inches deep 103.5 long for the XL twin (combination of the length of the bed plus the width of the detached staircase; the bed can also be accessed without the staircase by the ladder-like side slats on the side. The wardrobe sits under and supports the head of the bed.) The unit comes apart for easy moving, and I have the assembly instructions to guide the process. I live in an elevator building as well.
