Seller's Notes:Stunning family heirloom that was originally from NYC. Lovingly cared for over several generations. Very solid and beautifully crafted. A few superficial scratches on the top and some scraping on the left interior door from the drawers being opened and closed. Easily remediated. I'm sure it's held many secrets as well as clothing and other items. (My great uncle was a bootlegger who hung out with some infamous gangsters in NYC during Prohibition!) There might be a manufacturer's name on the back of the piece, but it's too heavy for me to move.
