Lower drawer slides out and the entire thing can be flat-packed for easy transition and storage. It has been used for a number of years and shipped once but is still in great condition -- some minor damage to one corner and the back of the upper shelving unit. **The desk has already been broken down for easy moving aside from the upper shelving unit that is still together. Pick up only, thanks!
