Plug-in pendant is convertible; can be hardwired using Conversion Kit (sold separately). May be paired with dimmer switch or dimming smart bulb (not included). This fixture has been rated for up to one 150W maximum Type A standard incandescent light bulb (not included) or one 42W maximum CFL bulb. All new cord set, blank-up kit (to cover a ceiling opening), and wire connectors are included. To avoid the risk of fire, do not exceed the recommended wattage. UL listed. Imported. The light has never been installed or used. The shade is wrapped in the original wrapping. It is an attractive light fixture that will hang from a ceiling. I bought this light fixture for an apartment last year but my purchase fell through and I cannot use it in my current apartment where I need flush mount lights. (Note: Although the West Elm listing photo shows it as hardwired, but the product is a cordset. The hardwired option must be purchased separately from West Elm). Included in the box are the: instructions, shade, cordset, blank-up kit (to cover a ceiling opening), and wire connectors. All the products are new and never used.
