This is a great floor lamp, however, I moved recently and am changing my decor style. The movers got some light dirt on the rim of the drum-style shade (shade dimensions are 22 inches in diameter, 10 inches in height). The affected areas are at the top of the shade on one side (see the photo that has 4 arrows and the numerous photos with 1-3 arrows that I took to fully document this same section). I have posted photos from different angles (above and side views) so you can see these. The smudges are on the same 1/3 side of the shade. If you are putting this floor lamp in a corner you can turn the shade so the perfect 2/3 area of the shade is facing outward - the lamp will look great. The existing shade is in excellent condition aside from the area with smudges on the top (as mentioned and shown). In addition to the cotton/linen lamp shade, your purchase also includes a natural-color paper shade (see photos) that is still in its cellophane wrapping (the dimensions of this are: 14-top x 15-bottom x 9.5-height). You can use this shade for another lamp that is smaller than the tripod floor lamp. The smaller shade is a free extra.
