High-gauge sinuous springs provide cushion support. Seat cushions have down alternative-wrapped, high-resiliency polyurethane foam cores. Seat firmness: Soft. On a scale from 1 to 5 (5 being firmest), we rate it a 2. Back cushions are filled with a down alternative and poly fiber blend. Removable legs Loose, reversible cushions (Astor Velvet excluded). Cushion covers unzip to remove. Folds out to reveal Queen-sized mattress. Gel mattress features a 2-layer construction of high-density foam and gel-infused foam. It’s designed to contour to the body and wick away body heat. Mattress ticking has an ultra-soft, breathable knit. To avoid damaging the frame, do not fold the mattress into the sofa with sheets or blankets on it. Accommodates West Elm Queen-sized sheets (sold separately).
