The open glass top and closed 2-drawer storage give you a choice: display or stow away. My husband and I are moving to a new place and unfortunately this coffee table can't come with us. There are a few minor scratches on the wood around the drawers but they are not noticeable. The drawers are very deep, and we have found it perfect for holding books and magazines to clear away the clutter of the living room and keep things organized.
