Seller's Notes:Elegant sophisticated Wassily chair designed by Marcel Breuer at the Bauhaus in 1925. Lightweight and beautiful, ultra modern. Leather and metal. The leather arm straps are worn at the ends as shown but it does not affect the function and it’s not even very noticeable since it’s black. The original ones from the 20s look really beat up, so this one being a reproduction is in comparatively much better shape! There are websites where you can buy replacement straps if you want it to look brand new. Note that this item is unstamped and I don’t know who manufactured it. It was given to me as a gift 5 years ago.
