Its a crazy deal that Im sad to part with but unfortunately when its just myself living alone, it makes no sense having a 6-8 ppl table taking up all this space. I am sad to go but pray the next home they go cherishes them. Not many things now a days are such great quality. and yes 6 chairs are included. Would provide 8 but we also bought it form the store for the 6 chairs. The expandable portion is a latch to pull from under the table
