Seller's Notes:Wardrobe circa 1840 purchased from B. Altman's in 1987 for $1595. The market for American Antiques has since gone way down, so today's retail price is probably substantially less than $1595. Made of pine. It is rickety and has suffered some wear and tear/damage owing to handicapped hand-holds previously attached to it, as can be seen in two of the photos. It comes in 2 pieces -- upper and lower sections, with the bottom drawer being the lower section. It was previously used to store VHS Tapes and DVDs. The handicapped hand-holds were attached to it at the request of an elderly gentleman who had this piece sitting right next to his easy-chair.
