Vintage/Antique Light Brown Wood Sideboard

Product details

Seller's Notes:This beautiful classic mid century modern stereo console we picked up at a home in Hilton Head a couple of weeks ago. It’s a 54” wide Philips from 1968, and is as heavy as you’d imagine walnut is. Evan and Carol had this originally in their Palm Springs home, when they lived full time in LA as Evan was an attorney there, but their second home was Palm Springs. They loved this piece so much it went with them when Evan and Carol retired to Hilton Head. Their next move into a small manageable condo just won’t have the room for it, and they don’t play records like they used to. So we were all too happy to acquire this and restore her to all her beauty and functionality. To keep the budget of buying these affordable, we offer various levels of upgrades so we can keep it in line, with turntables from $129 up to, well, $699 and above if so desired. The same for the new modernized amps we install and integrate. From really great deep sounding solid state amps tuned for this piece as standard equipment, or by adding optional upgraded internal and set-top tube amps for not only performance but nostalgia as desired. Rest assured, all of our restored consoles have had the integration of bluetooth into the sound system so you can stream all of your playlists, channels, or any radio station world-wide. And yes, many customers in the past have asked for CD/DVD players, tape players you name it. And with our background in audio engineering, no integration is too big. And to answer a few questions, yes we have over 25 mid century stereo console wall units and bars in our shop, yes they range from $600 on up to $14,000.
