Rare find: A stunning Louis XVI Style Cylinder (Roll-top) Desk featuring exquisite hand-cut marquetry. This is an artisan-made piece, not a mass-produced reproduction. Details: Intricate "Greek Key" and geometric banding in mahogany and satinwood veneers. Quality: Solid wood drawers with hand-cut dovetail joints (see photos). Functional: The roll-top slides smoothly to reveal a fitted interior with 6 drawers and cubbies. Hardware: Heavy cast-brass ormolu pulls with a lyre motif.
