Seller's Notes:Fine Regency-style kidney-form writing desk crafted in richly figured flame mahogany veneers. The serpentine front features a central drawer flanked by two pedestals with graduated drawers, retaining elegant brass swan-neck pulls and decorative backplates. The shaped top is fitted with an embossed gilt-tooled leather writing surface. The reverse side is fully finished and incorporates curved faux- bookcase cabinet doors, allowing the desk to be placed in the center of a room. Raised on tapered legs terminating in spade feet.
