This example features a richly molded arched pediment, fluted columns, and a well-proportioned case that reflects classic Georgian influence. The brass dial is fitted with an illuminated moon phase arch, enhanced by a starry sky that softly glows when lit—an especially desirable feature that adds depth and ambiance in low light. The engraved dial is complemented by applied Arabic numerals and ornate corner spandrels, lending visual clarity and decorative richness. Powered by a German cable-driven movement, this clock offers three classic chime selections—Westminster, Whittington, and St. Michael’s—with an optional silent mode. The electrical cord present operates only the interior lighting system; the timekeeping and chime functions are entirely mechanical.
