Vintage/Antique Dark Brown Wood Bar Cart

Product details

Seller's Notes:This is a great German mid century modern piece, from Korting, who also had the same cabinets as Grundig and Blaupunkt. This one is by far the most rare, and the glass in front of the bar has a stained glass treatment, very swank, very cool, without being gaudy. I picked this up from Sven and Gertrude out of Lansing MI, where Sven was a professor of History at the university there. When they moved from Germany, they brought this over. Now that they are retiring and downsizing we were fortunate enough to pick this up, refurbish it, and give it new life. As a stereo console it works amazing and we can outfit this with many options as desired. To keep the budget of buying these affordable, we offer various levels of upgrades so we can keep it in line, with turntables from $129 up to, well, $699 and above if so desired. The same for the new modernized amps we install and integrate. From really great deep sounding solid state amps tuned for this piece as standard equipment, or by adding optional upgraded internal and set-top tube amps for not only performance but nostalgia as desired. Rest assured, all of our restored consoles have had the integration of bluetooth into the sound system so you can stream all of your playlists, channels, or any radio station world-wide. And yes, many customers in the past have asked for CD/DVD players, tape players you name it. And with our background in audio engineering, no integration is too big. And to answer a few questions, yes we have over 25 mid century stereo console wall units and bars in our shop, yes they range from $600 on up to $14,000.
