Product details
Seller's Notes:Selling a stunning, authentic hand-knotted wool Oriental rug in a spacious 9x13 size. This high-quality piece features a beautiful, gently aged vintage patina that brings instant warmth, character, and timeless elegance to any room. I am the original owner and have loved this rug for 10 years in a clean, well-maintained home. I would absolutely keep it if I had the space, but it is simply too large for my current apartment layout. Provenance & Value: Originally purchased from the reputable Istanbul Rugs on University Ave in Berkeley for $11,000. This is a master-crafted, investment-grade heritage piece being offered at a fraction of its retail cost solely due to an apartment downsize. CONDITION & MAINTENANCE Usage: Gently used and excellently maintained over 10 years. Cleaning History: Professionally cleaned twice during its lifespan. It has just been vacuumed with straight suction (no harsh brush bars) and refreshed for its new home. Wear: Features a gorgeous, natural aged look that highlights its vintage authenticity. There are no major stains, structural tears, threadbare spots. Fringe is notched in two spots but otherwise in great condition (see image). Environment: Free of smoke odors, heavy pet accidents, or deep debris. SPECIFICATIONS Dimensions: 9 ft x 13 ft (117 sq ft) Material: 100% Premium Wool pile on a durable cotton/wool foundation Construction: Hand-knotted (see photos of the back grid pattern for weave authenticity) Color: Light blue with ivory, some silvering patina throughout Floor Compatibility: Safe for all surfaces; looks exceptional layered over hardwood floors.
