Seller's Notes:This is an original frame from the V&A museum in London purchased for £700. Originally used to frame fabrics from their textile department, you can see original text and stickers. Likely pre turn of the century, late 1880’s. A stunning piece of British history, thus can either be used to frame an existing piece of art, or just be mounted as is. The top side has a brass handle. Contemporary brass mounting holes. Heavy patina, consistent with age. Please look at all images.
