Seller's Notes:This is a vintage Victorian chaise (or recamier, or fainting couch - the style has different terms) that was painted and completely reupholstered - inside AND out - seven years ago. The fabric is by Kelly Wearstler; the paint is chrome silver. The cushioning is more stiff than squishy, so it has a polished look. The dimensions are petite, which is unusual (only 53" long), and which allow it to fit into a small space. (The height of 37" is the highest point of the back.) We love this chaise and are selling it only because we're redecorating. I haven't noted any damage on the wood. The upholstery is as if brand-new.
