Seller's Notes:Torbjørn Afdal’s Krobo bench for Bruksbo is one of the great icons of Norwegian mid-century design. This confirmed original example — bearing the Bruksbo Modell label and maker’s stamp on the underside — measures 79 inches, making it one of the longer and more spatially commanding configurations of this celebrated design. The form is immediately recognizable: a long teak plank with subtly raised lipped edges on all four sides, resting on two sculpted U-shaped sled legs with enameled black metal stretchers. Pure, resolved, and endlessly versatile — as a hallway bench, sofa table, low coffee table, or display surface. Warm teak grain throughout. A labeled original Krobo at this length is a meaningful find in the Scandinavian mid-century market.
