Seller's Notes:Very rare vintage telescoping table, in decent but well loved condition. Perfect for a small NY apartment where you want to entertain but don't have space for a dining table at all times. The Table can be set-up as a buffet/side table until you are ready for dinner. The center legs and panel pull out and up to 5 additional leaves can be added onto the table to allow comfortable seating for 7 people (3 per side, 1 at the front). Each leaf is 12 inches and you can use 1-5, allowing for customization for the number of guests you are hosting. If using all leaves, the length of the seating portion of the table is 6ft. The rings are both decorative and functional, as they serve as the handles for 4 small side and one large middle drawer, which is quite handy for storing table linens, etc. The middle drawer is somewhat wobbly and needs to be adjusted back on track, at times, but once in place stays upright. However, heavy items should not be stored in it for this reason. Please note: this is a very sturdy piece and quite heavy, due to all the hidden telescoping elements. A middle leg can be extended for support when all leafs are in use. The only item for sale in this listing is the table itself - other items shown on the shelf are personal decor (table is great for showing off various items) and not included. The table shows clear signs of wear - scratches, marks, and uneven finish - and is priced accordingly. Signs of wear are clearly photographed - please look closely or message for any questions! Covering with a table cloth or runner hides most blemishes. Originally purchased from an antique store in Front Royal, Virginia.
