Seller's Notes:Beautiful, large vintage tapestry decorated with a lush landscape of trees, vegetation, streams, hills in the distance, and some architectural elements. It looks like a replica of a 17th-18th century Flemish tapestry. The color palette includes shades of green, blue, ochre and brown. Lined on the back in brown fabric that feels like cotton. Measures 78" tall x 95" wide. I don't know much about the history of this piece, except that it was purchased around 1983 for about $1,580. There are hooks in back along the top so the tapestry can be easily hung (see last photo). Excellent condition with no visible damage, except you can see indentations along the top in the front of the tapestry where the hooks are connected in the back (see photos).
