Seller's Notes: This basket is a rather large container with bamboo and reed detailing on raised feet. Done in the asian split bamboo sawali style, this basket is perfect for storing small objects or additional throws and likely made in the 70s. The basket also features small loops on either side to allow securing the lid into place with cording if you so choose. The design of the basket starts with a rectangular base and ends with a wide oval mouth for maximum storage with a smaller footprint. This type of construction (rectangular to round) is done by only the most skilled crafters. Wear is consistent with age and does not impact the use of the product.
