Seller's Notes:We purchased this solid oak roll top desk in 1980 while living in Illinois and it has served us well for 46 years. We are downsizing and sadly this piece cannot go with us. The desk is in beautiful condition. A little worn along a small area on the front edge but not noticeable as shown in the photo, and a couple of small bumps here and there which can be easily touched up if desired. It has a lock for the top and there is one key. There are nine cubbies and two small drawers in the interior. There are six main drawers, all working. The top is a separate piece which can be taken off, making it easier to move. Once the top is screwed back on it is seamless. This was a “no regrets” purchase for us but now we have to let it go. It’s a timeless piece!
