This is a statement piece for any New York home and has been a beloved centerpiece of my home for many years. It is a testament to Paul Frankl's design versatility and productiveness that new pieces of his work keep turning up, such as this bookcase. This piece is definately up there with his best Skyscraper bookcase designs. The outline is dramatic, emphasised with the bold red lines, looking almost neon against the black. The original was made during Frankl's golden period of his Skyscraper designs. Like his best designs this bookcase offers excellent storage and display space and makes a stunning design statement in any interior. Dimensions: 89” H, 15” D x 33” W Age consistent with wear for a vintage one of a kind piece. Needs a quick paint touch up in areas where paint is flaking, see pics. Original Paul Frankl bookcases cost $25-$50K+.
